Common questions
The Office of Admission will send final travel details via email before the program.
For arrivals, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ College staff will pick students up and shuttle them to campus.
For returns, a coach bus will deliver students traveling by air to ALB at the program's
end. If your flight departs before 5 p.m. on Friday, you will be shuttled separately.
We will be keeping an eye on all flights! If you encounter a delay or cancellation, or if miss your flight, please contact Tiffany DiPasquale (contact information contained within travel email and GroupMe Chat).
If you are traveling by car, please park in the Tang Lot. Please know that Campus Safety is aware that our guests will be parking in this lot for the duration of their visit.
If you are traveling on the coach bus, you will meet the bus at the corner of W 34th
St. And Hudson Blvd E. New York, New York 10018. Â鶹Æƽâ°æ College chaperones will
meet you at this location and facilitate loading them on the bus. Contact information
for chaperones will be sent to you via email.
Please reference your Discovery Travel Reminder email. We have detailed packing information
including pillow, sleeping bag, towel, toiletries, and shower shoes.
Because of where we are in the semester, class visits are not possible at this time.
Students will get a chance to meet faculty at dinner on Thursday and have free time
on Friday to visit various academic departments.
Yes! Admitted OP students will receive an invitation to meet with the OP team while
on campus.
Yes! Students will hear an overview of financial aid at Â鶹Æƽâ°æ from members of our
financial aid staff at the program and can schedule a one-on-one meeting by contacting
finaid@skidmore.edu.
