Yujeong Ahn is an artist and educator working across painting, drawing, printmaking, fiber, digital media, and book arts. Her practice unfolds through material inquiry and historical reflection, tracing how visual systems, ornament, and embodied knowledge move across cultures and time through contemporary studio processes.
She has been commissioned to create an illustrated children’s book, extending her interest in visual narrative, pedagogy, and accessibility across audiences. She has taught at Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ College, the University at Albany, and Hong Ik Art Prep Institute in South Korea, where her teaching centers on careful looking, material experimentation, and the cultivation of process as a form of critical thinking. Ahn studied undergraduate at Dong Ah University in Busan, South Korea, and earned a BS from Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ College, graduating both Magna Cum Laude and institutional honors in art. She is currently pursuing an MFA at the University at Albany, SUNY.
