The Office of Communications and Marketing leads Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ College’s brand, storytelling, digital presence, media relations, institutional communications, creative services, social media, and major marketing initiatives.

We partner with offices across campus to engage audiences, strengthen messages, steward College-wide standards, and create communications that advance Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æâ€™s priorities.

What OCM leads

OCM leads College-wide communications and marketing work in partnership with departments, programs, and offices across Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ.
  • Brand strategy and identity: Steward Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æâ€™s voice, visual identity, messaging, and brand standards.
  • Marketing: Develop strategic, audience-centered campaigns that build awareness, engagement, and affinity.
  • Institutional communications: Coordinate major College communications, including leadership messages, crisis communications, and community updates.
  • Web and digital strategy: Lead Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æâ€™s public website, digital content strategy, user experience, accessibility, analytics, and related governance.
  • Social media: Manage Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æâ€™s flagship social channels and guide campus partners in effective, brand-aligned social media use.
  • Media relations: Connect Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ stories, faculty expertise, and institutional priorities with regional and national media.
  • Athletics communications: Oversee sports information, athletics storytelling, and digital coverage for Thoroughbred teams.
  • Creative services: Produce and guide design, photography, video, publications, and visual storytelling for high-priority College needs.
  • The Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ Shop: Operate College retail and help steward branded merchandise.
  • Campus partnership and guidance: Equip offices with tools, standards, consultation, and best practices that strengthen communications across the College.
